The Kergan Sisters, Sable (14) and Mimi (11), are a sister cosplay team known for their creativity, craftsmanship, and commitment to sustainability. Based in California, they design and build their own cosplays using repurposed and eco-friendly materials—turning recycled fabric, EVA foam scraps, thrifted clothing, and even wood and metal into incredible costumes and props. What began as a shared love for dressing up has grown into a passion for handmade, sustainable cosplay and helping other kids get started. For the past two years, Sable and Mimi have been learning advanced maker techniques including sewing, foam fabrication, 3D printing, and light woodworking—all while inspiring a new generation of young cosplayers to create with confidence and care for the planet.
